[Official] Klose Becomes New Head Coach For SCR Altach

Miroslav Klose has officially become the new coach of Austrian Bundesliga club SCR Altach.

SCR Altach is pleased to introduce Miroslav Klose as the new head coach. The longtime Germany national team player and World Cup record scorer will sign a contract at Altach on Sunday and will be officially presented next Monday.

After finishing his active career in the summer of 2016, Klose got his first experience as an assistant coach of the German national team. After that, Klose served as the head coach of the Bayern Munich U17 team for 2 seasons, and in the 2020/21 season, he transferred to Hans Flick's coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Along with Klose, who replaced Ludovic Magnin at SCR Altach, Slaven Skeledzic will move to Rheindorf as an assistant coach. Final details are currently being clarified with FC Bayern Munich.

The Austrian club, which welcomed one of the world's football legends to the bench, is very satisfied. Fans were so excited that the company's official website was down for a few minutes, unable to view the official press release.
