Lazio Starts Second Retreat In Germany, There Are No Acerbi And Akpa Akpro

Lazio started the second part of their preparations for the championship today, with the match starting on 14 August. Following the retirement of Auronzo di Cadore, Biancoceleste will continue training in Germany until 31 July. The biancoceleste club will travel to their new destination in the afternoon, where they will play friendlies against Genoa and Qatar national teams.

Of the players on the second retreat, Francesco Acerbi and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro will be missing. The pair were left out of the squad by Maurizio Sarri because they were no longer part of the coaching project.

The Ivorian is close to moving, Sampdoria and Cremonese are fond of him in Italy, but he also has demands abroad, especially in France. The different situation for Francesco Acerbi who doesn't seem to have any specific proposals or interests. The only club to come forward was Napoli, who quickly struck a deal with Kim Min Jae before approaching the player.

This exclusion of Sarri from next season's squad suggests that he will not be a part of the team, which could mean that he is set to leave the club. Among the clubs that follow him, Milan and Inter should be considered, but also Juventus and Torino. On the other hand, Monza with Galliani who yesterday categorically denied his possible landing should not be excluded.
