[Official] Lukaku Signed For Ponferradina After Leaving Lazio

Jordan Lukaku (28) was silent for a long time.  Romelu's younger brother has been looking for a new club after seeing his contract with Lazio expired. He has now found it in the Spanish second division.

He signed with Spain's Ponferradina for a year. The club is off to a good start to the season with two wins in two games and is second overall.

The former Anderlecht player has no future at Lazio, having joined the club from Ostend for €4m in the summer of 2016.

With the Italian team, he played at the highest level in Italy for four years. During this period, he played 66 games, plus nine Europa League games.

He was loaned to Antwerp for the 2020-2021 season and played at Vicenza last season, where he wore the shirt nine times in the Italian Serie B.

The left-back's career so far has been full of ups and downs. Now he wants to start over in the Spanish second division.
