Valencia Make Akpa Akpro As One Of Their Transfer Targets

Akpa Akpro is waiting for news from the market and hoping to get back on track after rejecting many Italian clubs and now could be a huge opportunity.

Among the fringe players, who could say goodbye by the end of the market, is Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro. Out of the squad for Torino and, even before that, from those for retirement in Germany, the Ivorian is looking for a team that will make him a regular again, although he hopes to reintegrate at Lazio.

After rejecting Lecce and Parma and being likened to a difficult return from Salernitana, Akpa could end up on the target list of coach Rino Gattuso's Valencia, who is very keen on the Italian market.

The Spanish club is considering handing the Lazio midfielder to their manager on dry loan formula, according to reports confirmed by Las Provincias and Foot365. The Biancoceleste will accept the same conditions as Lecce and could try to get a better option by inserting a redemption option, but it is not excluded that they might be happy with just the loan, rather than having to pay his salary.

There has been no contact between the clubs, but the football transfer market is closing soon. Maybe we will hear something in the next few hours. For now, it is just an idea among different clubs.
