Cataldi Injured In Last Training, Big Chance To Miss Against Spezia

Maurizio Sarri didn't have time to smile as new concerns emerged: it was Cataldi who ended training early yesterday afternoon. Sarri worried about Danilo Cataldi's condition ahead of the game against Spezia.

A contusion just below the knee, a blow that forced him off the field in the final game of his second practice of the day. Fingers crossed now. The midfielder will be monitored for the next 24-48 hours and it is hoped to see him back with his teammates soon. He was hit and felt immediate pain. He has two days to recover and be in the starting lineup at the Olimpico stadium.

That's an irony considering the midfielder hasn't missed a single training session during the league. Marcos Antonio is the alternative, with Sarri hoping not to miss another part of the starting line-up. This was reported by Corriere dello Sport.
