[Europa League] Sturm Graz - Lazio = 0 - 0

In the 2022/2023 Europa League Group F third game, Lazio and Sturm Graz both collected one point. Met at Merkur Arena in Austria on Thursday (6/10/2022), and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

The Biancoceleste had a point to prove after a 5-1 loss to Midtjylland, a huge slide after three consecutive Serie A victories and a 4-2 opener against Feyenoord, which left this group even on three points apiece. Maurizio Sarri kept the rotation to a minimum, resting only Patric, Manuel Lazzari, and Mattia Zaccagni.

Both teams played hard and were determined from the start. Everyone was doing their best.

Lazio themselves could have won that game after scoring through Immobile in the second half. Unfortunately, the goal was ruled out by the referee.

Sturm Graz had to play with 10 men in the final 10 minutes of the game. Lazio can't use this opportunity to score either.

A match filled with intense passion ended in a 0-0 draw. Both teams frequently attacked each other until the match was ended by the referee.

Two tie games occurred during the third week of the Europa League Group F matches. Besides Sturm Graz - Lazio who ended in a 0-0, the other match between Midtjylland - Feyenoord also ended in a 2-2 draw. This result leads the competition to be harder than other groups because all 4 teams in this group have points of 4. None of the other groups are in the same condition.
