Win Against Atalanta, Lazio Defense Department Continues To Get More Defense Records

Lazio still keeps their goal safe in Bergamo. Provedel, together with all the defense, annihilates the attacks of Atalanta and does not concede a goal.

Lazio kept their sixth consecutive clean sheet in Bergamo's victory over Atalanta and are just one step away from the record. This has only happened once in Lazio's history, with seven consecutive clean sheets under Sven-Goran Eriksen between February and March 1998. So, to equal the record, therefore only 90 minutes left and the next opponent in the league to hit this achievement will be Salernitana.

Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel himself has also made an important leap in the club's history. With Lazio's 2-0 win over Atalanta, the goalkeeper is unbeaten for 569 minutes in the league, fourth place in the club's all-time standings.

The goalkeeper, therefore, approached Pulici, and, by collecting the 6th consecutive clean sheet, he has come closer to Luca Marchegiani's historical record. Here are the rankings:

1 - Luca Marchegiani (745 ')

2 - Fernando Orsi (724 ')

3 - Felice Pulici (606 ')

4 - Ivan Provedel (569 ')

5 - Claudio Bandoni (548 ')

6 - Silvano Martina (531 ')

7 - Valerio Fiori (518 ')

8 - Idilio Cei (516 ')

9 - Federico Marchetti (512 ')

10 - Dario Marigo (487 ')
