A New Name For Immobile's Backup: Benfica's Rafa Silva

A new name in Lazio for what concerns the possible market objectives. Maurizio Sarri would have indicated a new player who could strengthen the attacking department from the Portuguese league.

January is approaching and the club has been struggling with two issues: left back and Immobile's backup. Several names have assembled over the past few months and many will be featured at the winter transfer market meeting. As today's Il Messaggero reports, Maurizio Sarri has spotted a new profile for the attacking department. Benfica striker, Rafa Silva captivated the manager this week when he scored twice against Juventus in the Champions League.

Rafa Silva, 29 years old and his contract due in 2024, is a highly skilled center-forward admired by Tuscan coach. But Lotito was clear: without exits, there can be no purchases. Before the World Cup, there will be a meeting to talk about the transfer market, we'll see if Sarri will be able to convince the Biancoceleste president.
