Escalante Agreed To End His Loan Contract At Cremonese Sooner To Return To Spain

Gonzalo Escalante's loan to Cremonese was unsuccessful. The Argentine midfielder, who returned from a successful mid-season loan at Alaves, underperformed in Cremonese.

As a result, the paths could diverge as early as January, and the Lombard club, according to La Repubblica, would be prepared to terminate the loan early. They also informed the player of their decision. Escalante himself also intended to return to La Liga, where he had previously excelled with Eibar from 2015-2020.

There would be two clubs in the Spanish top division competing for him: Cadiz, who previously had him, and Almeria. With the latter, in particular, there could be contacts tomorrow, on the day of the friendly match that is organized between the two clubs.
