Lazio Has Agreed To Loan Nico Schulz For 6 Months

Lazio has agreed to transfer Borussia Dortmund's left-back Nico Schulz as a loan player. He has not appeared this year. The Bundesliga giants are interested in releasing him from their payroll.

Borussia Dortmund acquired Nico Schulz from Hoffenheim in May 2019. The left-back agreed to a contract that will last until June 2024. They want the defender to help in ending Bayern Munich's dominance in the German top flight.

The situation was not as anticipated for either party. He was unable to make an impact at Signal Iduna Park, and now Lazio wanted to sign him. The player's value is approximately 5 Million Euros, and BVB wants to eliminate his high salary from their budget.

According to BILD, Biancoceleste has agreed to acquire Nico Schulz in January. According to reports, the player will join the club on loan for half a year, The Aquile will cover 50% of his salary.

Schulz is one of the German club BVB's most expensive signings for 25.5 Million Euros. This transfer will resolve the financial issues of his team since he didn't even feature in any matches this season.
