Lotito: "Pellegrini? I Haven't Discussed This With Anyone And I Will Not Do So Soon."

Lazio president, Claudio Lotito has denied that he is in negotiations with Juventus regarding the transfer of Luca Pellegrini, who is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has denied reports that the club is in negotiations to sign Juventus left-back Luca Pellegrini in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign. The defender is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt for the season, the German club is reportedly displeased with his performance thus far.

Juventus expected Pellegrini to complete the campaign with Eintracht, however, Maurizio Sarri wants a new left-back and wants to collaborate with the defender again. The club must now negotiate with the Bianconeri and attempt to sell the defender, this has reportedly started.

However, the president of the Biancoceleste, Lotito, when asked about the agreement, seemed to deny it.

"We will observe how it develops in the coming weeks. Pellegrini? I haven't discussed this with anyone and I will not do so soon, I spent the last three days in Senate offices,” he explained via Tuttomercatoweb.

The Italian capital club has been frequently linked with a move for Pellegrini, this is because Maurizio Sarri, the club's manager, is seeking additional options at left-back in his team, the Albanian, Elseid Hysaj, has been the least reliable so far.
