Pastorello: "This Is A Situation That Causes Embarrassment For A Goalkeeper Who Has Over 200 Appearances In Serie A With Lazio, I'm Very Hopeful Something Surfaces In January."

Thomas Strakosha's departure from Lazio was not as successful as he had hoped, in the summer he moved to Brentford in the Premier League in an attempt to become the club's first-choice goalkeeper. Arriving in England, however, competition from Raya led to the former Lazio goalkeeper being relegated to the bench, so far, he has only appeared in one EFL Cup match, on August 23rd, against Colchester United. Additionally, since September, the 1995-born player is no longer listed on the roster of coach Thomas Frank. The agent Federico Pastorello spoke to the microphones of Tuttomercatoweb about his situation, he said:

"Perhaps they intended to sell their goalkeeper, I'm not sure. This is a situation that we've only recently encountered, and today, it causes embarrassment for a goalkeeper who has over 200 appearances in Serie A with Lazio, it is understood that we're talking about an important Premier League club. He requires a solution to his anomaly; he could return to play someday. Neuer's injury provides us with many opportunities. I'm very hopeful something surfaces in January since Brentford themself understands the boy's embarrassment in living this situation."
