Pulcini: "He (Immobile) Is In Good Condition. He Is 100 Percent Free From Injury. He Will Be Ready When Serie A Is Started Again."

Lazio striker and captain, Ciro Immobile is 100% fit from his injury and has resumed training with Maurizio Sarri's side.

Throughout the 2022/23 season, Ciro Immobile is still a regular for Maurizio Sarri as Lazio's main striker. The Italian striker has seven goals and five assists for the club in 15 appearances in all competitions he has played.

Unfortunately, Immobile's fitness struggled last October when it was discovered that he suffered a hamstring injury. Although he made a brief recovery, Immobile's injury recurred and he played just four minutes against Monza on 10 November.

Now on the Serie A holiday following Qatar's 2022 World Cup performance, Lazio's medical team says Immobile is 100 % recovered from his injury and certain that he would be prepared when Serie A restarted.

Ivo Pulcini, a member of the Biancoceleste medical team, told LaLazioSiamoNoi:

"He is in good condition. He is 100 percent free from injury. He will be ready when Serie A is started again."

Lazio will return to action on January 4, 2023. They spent over a month on holiday. Maurizio Sarri's team will travel to the Lecce headquarters at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare.

The hope is that Immobile's return will provide an energetic boost for Biancoceleste and keep the team in the top four positions in Italy's League standings.
