Inter Consider Lazzari If They Sell Dumfries Next Season

Manuel Lazzari is said to be dissatisfied with the decreasing amount of playing time at Lazio and is rumored to be interested in moving to Inter next season. The defender is one of the candidates that the Nerazzuri are considering for next season.

The 29-year-old Italian full-back, Manuel Lazzari, is considered difficult to exhibit his best talent in the first season of Maurizio Sarri in the capital of Italy because he struggled with the 4-3-3 system employed by the coach.

The defender eventually adapted and participated in most of the league's first half, but the number of appearances and minutes played decreased. As a result, he has been dropped from the starting lineup and only started four games in Serie A in 2023. All of this season, he's participated in 29 games in all competitions and has yet to score a goal.

As reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Inter Milan is expected to part ways with Dumfries in the summer, which would necessitate the club to consider various alternatives, one of which may be Lazzari.

But it all depends on whether Simone Inzaghi remains the Nerazzuri coach; if he does, he will be delighted to be working with the Biancoceleste full-back again.

However, Inter is likely to ask Lazio for a discount on the permanent transfer of Francesco Acerbi and could bid in the range of 15-16 million Euros for a double deal involving both Lazzari and Acerbi.
