Luka Romero To Leave Lazio On A Free Transfer As Lotito Refused A Commission For His Agent In His Contract Extension Clause

Il Messaggero reports that the agreement regarding the extension of Luka Romero's contract is still not finalized. It was also suggested that Lazio may lose the young Argentinian player on a free agent status.

The reason is that Claudio Lotito explicitly refused the request from Fali Ramadani for a commission fee of 5 million euros for him.  Even though Romero and Lazio have agreed on the basic terms of a new contract, Ramadani still objects to signing it if the 5 million euro commission he's asking for isn't part of the agreement.

To this day, there has been no discussion of a new contract with Romero.  If this condition lasts until June, then Romero can join any club for free.
