Roland Sallai Was Spotted Visiting Formello Last Week


Lazio is reportedly in negotiations with Freiburg's Sallai, reports say Sallai visited the Formello training ground in Rome. The Aquile need another striker to support Ciro Immobile.


Lazio is obviously in need of a new striker in the upcoming transfer window, and has had to utilize a winger in a false nine in the absence of star striker Ciro Immobile.


Vedat Muriqi's departure has left a void in the squad, which Maurizio Sarri's team intends to fill by the end of the current campaign. As reported by LazioNews24, it is revealed that one of their intended strikers Roland Sallai visited Biancoceleste's training ground, Formello last week, this further increased the likelihood of the Hungarian player moving to Rome next season.


Additionally, TMW reported on Tuesday that The Aquile has been discussing the transfer of Freiburg's 25-year-old player for a cost of 14-15 million euros.


Sallai is renowned as a tactically versatile striker who can play as a winger or center forward and is seen as a valuable addition to Maurizio Sarri's squad. The player has been with the Bundesliga club for five years, appearing in 116 games and scoring 18 goals in all competitions. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old has 38 caps and nine goals for the Hungarian national team.
