Sarri Won Best Serie A Coach In March

Maurizio Sarri was voted the best coach in Serie A for March, the reason for this was Lazio's victories over Napoli and Roma.  The Biancoceleste is currently ranked second in the standings.

The coach of Lazio, Maurizio Sarri, received the award of the best coach in Serie A in March of this year. The Biancoceleste took 7 points from a possible 9 in March, they won the match against the leaders Napoli 1-0, draw 0-0 with Bologna, and secured a 1-0 win over Roma in a thrilling derby della capitale.

The award was presented by a panel of judges that included editors from sports publications, the judges evaluated the coaches based on technical criteria in sports and the quality of play on the field during matchdays 25, 26, and 27, which was reported by Football-Italia.

Lega Serie A's CEO Luigi De Siervo discussed the 63-year-old's performance at Lazio and why he deserved to receive the Monthly Coach of the Month award.

The Aquile is currently in second place with 19 points behind the leaders Napoli and 5 ahead of the fifth-place team Roma.  They want to ensure a place in the Champions League zone by continuing to enhance the Italian coach's plan in the capital.
