Immobile Refused A Lucrative Offer From Saudi Arabian Club

Lazio's captain Ciro Immobile has reportedly refused an offer from an undisclosed club in Saudi Arabia, the striker wants to retire in Rome.


Ciro Immobile has been a regular striker for Lazio since moving to the club from Sevilla in 2016, he has demonstrated this by having the highest goals per game several times.


The player is still a significant part of the Sarri's squad, despite having suffered from several injuries, he's still played a significant role in the current campaign. Despite this, he has netted 10 times and participated in 3 assists in 27 appearances in the Serie A, helping his team to secure a top-four finish.


The striker has only scored one goal in the past two-and-a-half months for The Aquile, he's dedicated himself to regaining his full fitness and returning to form after being involved in a car accident last month that resulted in a minor spinal injury, broken ribs, and also an arm injury.


According to Il Messaggero, Immobile has no wish to quit the Biancoceleste before the end of his playing career and has turned down an appealing offer from a Saudi Arabian club to demonstrate his commitment.


Meanwhile, the 33-year-old's deal with Lazio runs through 2026, with the possibility of one more year optional extension.
