Lazio Will Use Acerbi As A Deal To Sign Fabbian From Inter

Lazio is interested in signing talented Inter Milan midfielder Giovanni Fabbian as part of a deal for defender Francesco Acerbi, according to today's print edition of Rome-based publication Corriere dello Sport.

This season, Fabbian has been outstanding on loan with Reggina. For some years, the 20-year-old has been regarded as one of Inter's academy's crown jewels. Last season, he was a key member of Inter's Primavera team, which won the Under-19 Scudetto.

Fabbian has performed admirably in his first season as a senior football player. There has been a lot of interest in the young Inter midfielder as a result of this.

Meanwhile, some rumors claim that Fabbian has already been recalled to the Nerazzurri's first team. The youthful midfielder could be considered ready to take over for Roberto Gagliardini in the squad.

On the other hand, Inter's management and fans are pleased with the performance of Acerbi, their loan defender from Lazio. They hope to make his move permanent for next season after losing Skriniar to PSG.

However, if Inter refuses to pay the €4 million buy option in Acerbi's loan agreement, securing the former Sassuolo defender may be problematic. As a result, Lazio might use Inter's desire to keep Acerbi as leverage to sign Fabbian.
