Lazio Has Sent A New Contract Proposal To Pedro And Is Awaiting His Response In The Coming Weeks

According to reports, Lazio has offered a new contract to Spanish winger Pedro Rodriguez and is currently awaiting his response. During the previous two seasons, Pedro played an essential role in the squad of Maurizio Sarri.

Lazio has reportedly proposed a new two-year agreement to their experienced winger, Pedro Rodriguez, and is currently anticipating a response. Since his arrival on a free transfer last August 2021, the 2010 World Cup champion has been an essential member of Maurizio Sarri's team in the Italian capital.

Throughout this season, he has obtained seven successful goals and provided six assists in a total of 46 matches across all competitions. As Pedro's current contract with The Aquile is set to expire at the end of this month, Claudio Lotito has taken the initiative to prepare a new offer for the 35-year-old player, as he is determined not to let him slip away in the upcoming weeks.

According to LazioNews24, it has been disclosed that Biancoceleste have prepared a new contract for Pedro and has submitted it to his representatives. The proposed contract would extend for two years and would offer a net income of € 2 million

The winger's response is expected in the next weeks, and both parties hope to maintain their collaborative partnership in the future season.

Sarri loves the Spaniard's experience and adaptability, as well as his ability to play as a false nine if necessary.  He helped his team finish second in Serie A last season and return to the Champions League the next season.
