Lazio Is Interested In PSV's Veerman And Will Meet With His Current Team Representative Soon

As the 2022/23 football tournament comes to a close, the summer transfer market has already commenced. The business will officially begin once the transfer window opens on July 1st. Among the players who may soon make their way to Italy is Joey Veerman, a Dutch midfielder owned by PSV Eindhoven, who is being considered by Lazio.

At first, Lazio inquired with Juventus about the possibility of acquiring Nicolò Rovella, who had just come off a remarkable season with Monza and was returning to Turin after the end of his loan. Regrettably, the Juventus management rejected the proposal. Consequently, Lazio began to explore other options and started gathering information regarding Joey Veerman, currently playing for PSV, as a potential alternative.

The technical staff at Lazio have taken notice of Veerman, a midfielder born in 1998, and there are rumors of potential discussions with his current team in the coming days. Veerman was a key player for PSV, appearing in a total of 50 matches across various competitions, and contributing 9 goals and 14 assists to his team's success.
