[Official] Provedel Was Awarded The Best Goalkeeper For Serie A Season 22/23

As Serie A draws to a close, it has become an annual tradition to award the players who have truly shone throughout the championship.

Lazio's goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel, emerges victorious in the goalkeeper category, having been recognized by the Lega Serie A, surpassing fellow contenders Michele Di Gregorio (Monza) and Lukasz Skorupski (Bologna).

With a total of 20 clean sheets in just 37 appearances, this goalkeeper, born in 1994, holds the record for the most clean sheets - a record that could potentially be increased during Lazio's upcoming match against Empoli.

Amongst big names like Milan's goalkeeper Mike Maignan, Inter's Cameroonian André Onana, and Napoli's Italian Alex Meret, Provedel has emerged as the favorite in Serie A due to his exceptional season, having conceded only 30 goals.

Maurizio Sarri relieved him of his Europa League and Coppa Italia duties and entrusted him with the most important task for him: the domestic championship, the competition in which Lazio performed best and earned a place in the Champions League next season.
