[Official] Lazio Will Fly To England To Play Friendly Match With Aston Villa In August

Through their social media channels, Biancoceleste has announced the formalization of one pre-season friendly, which is set to take place in England.

As the current season draws to a close, Lazio's pre-season preparations are beginning to take form. While they still have a game to play - tomorrow in Empoli at 9 pm - intending to maintain their 2nd place stand, Lazio is already looking ahead to the upcoming season after securing both the Champions League and the Super Cup. Though awaiting official confirmation from the club, it is anticipated that the retreat will take place from July 11th to July 28th under the Tre Cime di Lavaredo in Auronzo di Cadore.

As is customary, there will be a few friendly matches played once the retreat has concluded. The first certainty in this regard has been formally announced by the club through their social media channels. On Thursday, August 3rd, at 7:30 PM, Lazio will take on Aston Villa at the Poundland Bescot Stadium in Walsall. Aston Villa, who finished in 7th place in the Premier League, will be the opponent for Lazio in this preseason game.

Due to concerts and other events at Villa Park during the off-season, Aston Villa will play the match at Bescot rather than Villa Park.
