[Serie A] Empoli - Lazio = 0 - 2

Lazio secured a 2-0 away win against Empoli during their match on Saturday (03/06) evening local time, thanks to a header by Alessio Romagnoli and a kick from Luis Alberto, ultimately finishing the 2022/23 Serie A season in second place.

Despite missing their key player Adam Marusic and their coach Maurizio Sarri serving a suspension, Lazio is determined to secure the second position in Serie A, while Empoli has already ensured its safe spot in the league.

In the 48th minute, Lazio opened up the scoring with a goal obtained via a corner-kick setup. Alessio Romagnoli contributed to the first goal with a header. The team wasn't content with just one goal and managed to secure a second goal during additional time thanks to a successful shot by Luis Alberto.

This victory has made Lazio ensure that they are runners-up in the 2022-2023 Italian League.  They finished in second place in the 2022-2023 Italian League standings with 74 points.  They beat Inter Milan who are in third place with 72 points from 38 matches that have been played.
