Kamada: "The Decision To Join Lazio Was Heavily Influenced By Maurizio Sarri. I Believe That Playing For Him Will Not Only Help Me Grow As A Player But Also Enable Me To Thrive On The Field."

Maurizio Sarri, the coach of Lazio, has put great faith in Daichi Kamada. This has led to Kamada feeling more assured of his position within the team than ever before. In an interview with number.bronshun.jp, the Japanese midfielder shared his thoughts on the matter.

"The decision to join Lazio was heavily influenced by Maurizio Sarri, an undeniable master of strategy. The prospect of playing under his leadership and engaging in his aggressive, precise brand of football was extremely appealing to me. I believe that playing for him will not only help me grow as a player but also enable me to thrive on the field."

Sarri has high hopes for Kamada, who joined the team on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt. The coach believes that Kamada has the potential to fill the significant gap that was left by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

"Upon observing Lazio matches, I came to know Sergej as one of the most prominent players in Serie A. His exceptional contributions to the team were undeniable, and I was thoroughly impressed by his movements on the field. We have different styles of play, and I believe he is physically superior to me, so I feel that while I carry out the tactical role required by the team, I must bring out my strengths, and I am confident that I will be able to score a good number of goals."
