Marseille Is Said To Have Accepted Lazio's Final Offer For Guendouzi

Lazio has reportedly reached a deal with Olympique Marseille to sign Matteo Guendouzi this summer and is only one step away from completing his transfer to the Italian capital.

The Aquile have been in talks with the Ligue 1 club for about a week, they want to sign the 24-year-old French midfielder before the closing of the summer window this week.

The Aquile's first offer was rejected by Marseille, their value was estimated at 13.5 million euros plus bonuses, the French club asked for the sum of 15 million euros and required the two clubs to negotiate again.

Reports by Gianluca di Marzio indicate that Marseille has accepted Biancoceleste's last offer for Guendouzi which consisted of the same figures as the first offer but with a bonus that is easier to obtain.

Lazio has already attempted to strike a personal agreement with the 24-year-old midfielder, who is intrigued by the prospect of working under Maurizio Sarri in the Italian capital.

After the agreement with the player is reached, Guendouzi will fly to Rome for a medical with The Aquile, which is expected to take place within the next few days.
