Marusic: "This Win Is Significant For Us. Under The New Coach, We've Been Working Effectively. I Hope This Continues Until The Season's End."

Adam Marusic emerged as the hero in Lazio's triumph over Juventus, clinching a last-minute goal that secured a 1-0 victory for the hosts and earned them a crucial three points. Marusic, expressing optimism about his team's future, acknowledged the significance of the win.

His goal, scored in stoppage time, propelled Lazio to a memorable 1-0 win against Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico. This marked Marusic's return to goal-scoring form after two years, under the guidance of new coach Igor Tudor, who enjoyed a dream debut with the team.

Lazio's victory, their first in Serie A since Maurizio Sarri's tenure, came after a 3-2 away win against Frosinone before the international break. With their aspirations for European competition qualification dwindling, securing three points against Juventus was crucial for the Biancoceleste.

Marusic's decisive header from Matteo Guendouzi's cross sealed the victory, prompting the right-back to express his joy at ending his goal drought and thanking the fans for their support.

"This win is significant for us," Marusic commented via DAZN. "Under the new coach, we've been working effectively. Scoring after two years in front of our passionate fans is special, and I'm grateful for their immense support. I hope this continues until the season's end."

While Tudor's coaching debut in Rome was promising, attention quickly turned to the upcoming clash against city rivals Roma. Lazio, currently five points adrift of fifth-placed Roma, must secure another win to revive their hopes of finishing in the top five in the standings.
