Lazio’s Noslin On West Ham Radar After Struggles For Playing Time Under Sarri
West Ham United are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Lazio forward Tijjani Noslin as they look to strengthen their attack in the upcoming January transfer window. The Dutch striker has struggled to find space in Maurizio Sarri’s plans this season, and both the player and the club are open to evaluating potential offers.
The Premier League side is enduring a disappointing start to their campaign. After a poor run of results, former coach Graham Potter was dismissed and replaced by Nuno Espirito Santo. Despite the managerial change, the East London club remains in the relegation zone, sitting 19th in the table with just four points. Their problems are not limited to defense alone, as their attacking output has also been underwhelming.
In six Premier League matches, the Hammers have managed to score only seven goals. Winger Jarrod Bowen and midfielder Lucas Paquetá are currently leading the club’s scoring charts with three goals each, while forwards Niclas Füllkrug, Callum Wilson, and Callum Marshall have collectively found the net only once. This lack of efficiency has pushed the club to seek new attacking options when the transfer window opens.
According to Il Messaggero, West Ham have identified Noslin as one of their prime targets. The 26-year-old forward, known for his versatility to play both as a winger and a striker, gained attention during his time at Hellas Verona, where he played a crucial role in helping the club avoid relegation in 2024. His performances earned him a move to Lazio, following coach Marco Baroni to Rome. However, their reunion did not yield the same results.
Under Sarri’s management, Noslin has been limited to brief appearances, featuring just four times off the bench this season. His most notable moment came against Torino, when he earned a late penalty that was converted by Danilo Cataldi to secure a draw for Lazio.
Both the Biancoceleste and Noslin appear willing to consider a transfer in January. Lazio, however, are determined to avoid a financial loss from his sale and have set an asking price of around 16 million euros, corresponding to the striker’s book value. It now remains to be seen whether West Ham are prepared to meet that figure to bring the Dutchman to the Premier League.
