[Official] The Future of Salernitana Has Been Decided

The Salernitana's knot has been dissolved. As announced on several occasions, Claudio Lotito and Marco Mezzaroma have met the deadline set at midnight on 25 June. Before 10.30 pm the pec was sent to the FIGC in which it is highlighted that the club is in a trust that will have the task of administering the company, to conclude the sale within six months. The trustee would be a company created ad hoc, with a very prestigious managing director. Now the FIGC will have to verify the validity of the operation: the answer is expected by Monday and then proceed with the registration to the championship.

Salernitana on its official website has published a note: 

"In compliance with the requirements of the Italian Football Federation, Omnia Service Srl and Morgenstern Srl declare that they have transferred their respective shareholdings equal in total to the entire share capital of US Salernitana 1919 Srl to the Salernitana 2021 trust aimed at the sale of the aforementioned shareholdings. 

"General Ugo Marchetti was appointed as the new Sole Director of US Salernitana 1919. All documents were sent to the FIGC. 

"Omnia Service and Morgenstern and the Lotito and Mezzaroma families thank Dr. Luciano Corradi for the work done and address an affectionate greeting and warm thanks to all the fans of Salerno, the city of Salerno, and the Salerno authorities and institutions for these wonderful years. together with full of successes, joys, and satisfactions."
