[OFFICIAL] Armini Join Piacenza On Loan

Lazio defender Nicolo Armini has officially joined Serie C club, Piacenza, on a season-long loan.  The 20-year-old is expected to get more opportunities to play with the first team.

The biancoceleste has officially announced the transfer of 20-year-old Italian defender Nicolo Armini to Piacenza on loan next season, where he will be given regular playing time with the first team as he looks to continue his development.

The following is the club's official statement:

"S.S Lazio announces a temporary transfer for the 2021/22 season, by registering the appearance rights of the player on behalf of Nicolo Armini to Piacenza Calcio 1919."

A 20-year-old player, Armini is a product of the Biancoceleste academy after joining the club at the age of 15 from an amateur club, Santa Maria Delle Mole.  He has only made four appearances for The Aquile first team, all in the era of the previous coach, Simone Inzaghi, who rarely trusted young players.

Armini has made 56 appearances for the Italian capital's Primavera side and is one of the most talented players in the squad but he failed to convince coach Maurizio Sarri to keep him with the first team this summer so he was sent on loan to gain the experience he needed.  So he could have a chance to convince the Aquile first team to pull him back.
