[OFFICIAL] Morrone On Loan To Monopoli


Biagio Morrone is a new Monopoli player.  The class of 2000 is transferred on loan and will join Mattia Novella, ex Lazio winger.

The transfer at Lazio continue.  Biagio Morrone, who has just returned from the loan at Foggia, is officially a new Monopoli player.  The midfielder from Campania born in 2000 will join another former Lazio player, Mattia Novella.  

The former Salernitana, whose contract with the eagles will expire in 2022 (with option for another season), moves to the court of the Apulians on loan.  

To announce the operation is the same club through an official press release on its channels:

"The S.S.  Monopoli 1966 announces that it has acquired, on a temporary basis from S.S.  Lazio, the right to sports performance of the player Biagio Morrone."

The midfielder from Campania born in 2000 who grew up in the Juventus youth sector, with the black and white jersey has made the whole process up to dispute the Youth League 2018/19 totaled 29 appearances and 2 goals in the Primavera Championship.

In July 2019 he was bought by Salernitana and immediately joined the first team, obtaining several calls to Serie B. 

In January 2020, Lazio bought him and turned him on loan to Rieti, where he played all the matches before the suspension of the championship due to Covid -19.  

Morrone also boasts 4 games played with the Under 18 National Team.

Last season, 20 appearances with the Foggia shirt.

The new midfielder of the seagull has reached Villa D 'Agri and is at the disposal of Mr. Colombo and his staff.
