Sarri Is Not Satisfied And Expects More From Lazio

Maurizio Sarri expects even more from Lazio's current players.  The 62-year-old coach often meets those who are still confused by the thoughts or movements he applies.

Lazio is undergoing preparations for a pre-season that has lasted almost a month. They have now entered the second stage of pre-season training where Sarri expects more from his players.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, there are still 15 days left until the start of the 2021/22 Serie A season and the Biancoceleste squad is still working hard to adapt to the 62-year-old coach's philosophy and tactics.

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri hopes that several new players will arrive before the end of this month to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2021/22 Serie A season which will roll out in two weeks.

The Aquile could only draw 1-1 with German third division club SV Meppen which is a disappointing result for the Italian capital club especially considering that their star striker, Ciro Immobile also featured in the match but unfortunately he was not able to perform optimally. When appointed as the executor of the penalty he could not do his job properly until his team had to settle for a draw.

Lazio will stay in Marienfeld for a few more days before traveling to the Netherlands to face FC Twente in a pre-season friendly which will take place on Saturday (07/08) evening local time.
