[OFFICIAL] Palombi Moves To Alessandria Permanently


As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla on Sunday (15/08) evening local time Serie B club Alessandria under coach Moreno Longo is looking for a new striker with certain criteria and according to them the 25-year-old player, Lazio's Simone Palombi fits the criteria of the player that they are looking for.

Now, Alessandria has formalized the arrival from Lazio of Simone Palombi, a striker born in 1996.  Here is the press release from the club that beat the competition from Perugia for the former Biancoceleste:


"At the end of a long negotiation that saw many clubs involved in contending for his signing, striker Simone Palombi is a new player from Alessandria."


"Having grown up in Lazio, the club from which he comes with a permanent transfer, Palombi, 25, played with Salernitana, Ternana, Cremonese, Lecce, and Pisa, in which he took the field 35 times last season, scoring 5 goals.  For him 240 career games (of which 137 in B) with 87 goals.  Our warm welcome to Simone."


The striker is a product of the Italian capital club's academy but only made three appearances for the first team in the Simone Inzaghi era.
