Chelsea Star Not Surprised By Maurizio Sarri's Achievements At Lazio

Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho has praised his former coach, Maurizio Sarri, and his achievements earlier this season with his new club, Lazio.  He admitted that he was not surprised by the achievements of the 62-year-old coach.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference that took place at the Azzuri training camp, the 29-year-old Italian and Brazilian, Jorginho paid tribute to the 62-year-old Italian coach Maurizio Sarri and how well he has started this season's campaign with the Biancoceleste.

"I'm not surprised by Sarri's start at Lazio, with a big 6-1 win over Spezia," he said as quoted by LazioNews24.

"I'm sure he will do a great job, I think Immobile will have a lot of fun this year."

The Aquile have superbly started their campaign by beating Empoli 3-1 in their opener before thrashing Spezia 6-1 in their second game.  The Italian capital club's third game of the season takes on AC Milan on 12 September after the international break.

The 62-year-old Italian coach is still working hard to implement his ideas and tactical system in the squad but has still managed to pick up six points from two games earlier this season.  He can now rely on new players like Mattia Zaccagni and Toma Basic after his squad is filled with interesting and creative players at the moment.

Meanwhile, Jorginho previously played under the Italian during his time at Napoli and Chelsea and was an important part of his team.
