[Europa League] Lazio - Lokomotiv Moscow: Preview

Lazio is now towards the Europa League match against Lokomotiv Moscow.

Lazio beat Roma in the derby della Capitale and was surrounded by healthy optimism within the team.  The hope that the team is moving towards the best form and the memories of ugliness seen against Torino and partly against Cagliari seem to have already vanished.

The good sensations are all there, in the images of the derby and especially in that of Maurizio Sarri with Olympia on his arm.  An image intended to create a link of understanding between the coach and the supporters. If the worst is over, the pitch will show it and the pitch now says Europe.  Says Lokomotiv Moscow.

Having recaptured the championship with the three points placed on Sunday afternoon, the Biancoceleste now have to adjust the Europa League group, where the current point is 0 points after 1 match. Lazio was defeated in Istanbul against Galatasaray.  Fortunately, in the other match of the first day, Marseille and Lokomotiv shared the result: 1-1.

The schedule is set for Thursday evening at 21, the Russians will be guests of Lazio at the Olimpico stadium in Rome.  The Biancoceleste will be forced to turn over, there will be some changes to measure out their strength in the presence of close engagements.

Strakosha will return despite the mistake of Istanbul, in defense they look for space for Patric and Radu, in midfield Basic is tried, in attack, it could touch Muriqi.  In Turin and at the derby he moved well when he was sent out, Sarri could be ready to give him a chance from 1'.

But there is an opponent not to be underestimated.  Lokomotiv is leading a good path in their championship: 17 points and third place alone after 9 matches, only Zenit and Dinamo are doing better.  Nikolic's team will leave nothing to chance and, as done on French soil against OM, will be ready to do battle.  An insidious match, which confirms the high difficulty coefficient of this Europa League group.
