Failed To Leave For Lazio, Filip Kostic Finally Opens His Voice

Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic, who almost joined Lazio last month, has finally opened his mouth after canceling a move to the Olimpico last summer.  The transfer failure was reportedly due to administrative problems.

28-year-old Serbian winger Filip Kostic has finally commented on the situation he was in which ruled him out of the 1-1 draw by Arminia Bielefeld for unknown reasons as Lazio tried to secure his service.

The winger uploaded a photo via his personal Instagram along with a caption that reads:

"I love Eintracht Frankfurt and I am very grateful for everything I have here, against Bielefeld I was psychologically not ready to play, this is not a protest!"

"I would like to apologize to the fans who got the wrong information and also thank the team members who have supported me."

"Some people owe me an apology, but we don't have time to deal with that because we have a tough season ahead of us."

"I remain strong mentally and will continue to fight for the club because the team needs me."

"Eintracht Frankfurt above all."

Kostic's contract with the Bundesliga club runs until 2023 and agreed on personal terms with the Biancoceleste a few weeks before the end of last summer's transfer window but the German club does not want to sell the player.
