[OFFICIAL] Ribery Is The New Player For Salernitana

The dream of an entire square has come true.  The news had been in the air for several hours, now the official has also arrived.  

After the presentation at the Arechi Stadium a few hours ago, Franck Ribery is a new player from Salernitana.  The news is given by the Campania club that, on its official website, writes: 

"The US Salernitana 1919 announces that it has reached an agreement with the 38-year-old striker Franck Ribery. The player has signed an annual contract with automatic renewal upon the occurrence of certain sporting conditions ".  

After his experience at Fiorentina, Ribery remains in Serie A. His goal to be achieved will be avoiding relegation with the grenade team. During his time for La Viola, Ribery scored five goals and 10 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions. 

Previously Biancoceleste has rejected an offer from Ribery's agent, arguing that their squad needs rejuvenation and the French players do not fit into the system that will be implemented by new coach Maurizio Sarri.

Franck Ribery has the opportunity to make his debut with Salernitana this weekend.  Salernitana travels to Torino on 12 September
