Pedro Wants To Take Revenge In The Derby Della Capitale

Lazio winger Pedro dreams of scoring in a derby della Capitale match against his former club, Roma which is seen as an act of perfect and stylish revenge after he was removed out by the Giallorossi last summer.

As reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport, Sunday's Derby Della Capitale will be a special match for the 34-year-old Spanish winger Pedro as he will be one of the few players to feature for both teams in the derby.

After scoring for the Giallorossi against Lazio on 15 May last season, the winger wants to repay the support of the Biancoceleste fans and take revenge on Jose Mourinho's side.

The ex-Chelsea winger is unhappy with the way his time at Roma has ended and would love to have scored against his former club in Sunday night's derby.  The goal will be something that Aquile fans will be able to celebrate for many years, an important element in Derby Della Capitale's culture.

Pedro Rodriguez is still yet to score for the Biancoceleste though he did provide an assist in the team's 6-1 win over Spezia.  Now he wants to help the Aquile get back to winning ways after two defeats and two draws in Serie A and the Europa League before the clash against their city rivals.  They are currently in seventh place in the standings.
