More Than 30,000 Fans Will Attend The Lazio Vs Roma Derby

September 26, 2021

More than 30,000 fans are rumored to be attending the derby della capitale match between Lazio and Roma which will take place on Sunday (26/09) evening local time at the Stadio Olimpico.

As reported by the Italian newspaper, Il Tempo in the first Derby Della Capitale match of the 2021/22 season will soon be held this night local time and the fans from Lazio and Roma have responded well, and want to support their favorite team in one of the best ways to support their team on this important match.

Despite the reduced capacity of the Stadio Olimpico due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is reported that more than 30,000 fans have purchased tickets to attend the derby match between the Biancoceleste and Roma.  Around 20,000 are fans of The Aquile while the remaining 10,000 are Giallorossi supporters.

As confirmed by the marketing director of The Aquile, Marco Canigiani that more than 23,000 tickets have been purchased by fans of the Sky Blue team who want to witness the first hot match of the derby Della Capitale in the 2021/22 season.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho's side has started the season better than Maurizio Sarri's side with four wins in their opening five Serie A matches and one defeat against Hellas Verona last weekend.

The Aquile, on the other hand, has had an inconsistent start to the season, with two wins, two draws, and one loss.  It will take time for the squad to adapt to the new system implemented by Maurizio Sarri and so the slow start is not a big surprise.
