Ciro Immobile Has A Negative Result For Swab Test

December 29, 2021

Italian striker, Ciro Immobile may return to football after Tuesday's negative coronavirus test.

Yesterday he carried out the molecular swab which would have given negative results.  Good news then for the bomber who is ready to take back the scene: if the news is confirmed and the controls are ok, he will return to train together with the team on the 30th, the day set for the resumption.

The goal is to reach the match against Empoli on January 6th in the best possible way.  These days King Ciro has always trained alone trying not to lose physical shape. But before that, he must undergo league medical tests.

The information was provided by the Italian media.

The 31-year-old had a positive test last week and missed matches against Genoa and Venezia, which his team won both by 3 - 1 scores.

He has scored 16 goals in 21 Serie A and European League matches this season.  Lazio ranks eighth and can improve by two positions if they win against Empoli next match.
