Sporting Offering Jovane Cabral To Lazio At The End Of Transfer Market

Lazio is reportedly in intense discussions with the Portuguese club Sporting to borrow Jovane Cabral.  The Biancoceleste have so far not brought in any new players in January.  This is because they are hindered by their problems with the liquidity index, meaning they have to sell players before bringing in new players.

As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, Maurizio Sarri's team wants to sign 23-year-old Jovane Cabral on loan for 8 million euros with a buy option embedded in his contract.  They hope to complete the transfer of Vedat Muriqi to Mallorca soon, so they can sign the player.

The attacker from Cape Verde can be played as a right or left-winger or in the center of the front line.  So far he has made 17 appearances in all competitions with a total of 707 minutes.  In that period he contributed three goals and one assist.  Unfortunately, he had to miss several games due to injury this season.

Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri's team is trying to release some marginalized players before they can bring in new players, so far they have managed to release some of them such as Jordan Lukaku, Denis Vavro, and Alessandro Rossi.
