Lazio Updates Squad List For 2021/22 Europa League: No Moro

February 03, 2022

Lazio has announced their latest squad list for the 2021/22 Europa League competition by including two new players registered this January, Jovane Cabral and Dimitrije Kamenovic.

Lazio only recruited one player in the January transfer market by bringing in Jovane Cabral on loan from Sporting CP with an option to buy a total of 9 million Euros.  The deal was realized on the last day of the market, and the transfer activity carried out by The Aquile has angered coach Maurizio Sarri so that his contract extension is in doubt.

Jovane was added to the latest UEFA squad list ahead of the play-off against FC Porto, with the first leg taking place in Portugal on 17 February and the 2nd leg at the Stadio Olimpico on 24 February.

Gonzalo Escalante, on loan at Alaves and Vedat Muriqi, who moved to Real Mallorca, was removed from the Biancoceleste's list and they were replaced by January signing Jovane Cabral and 21-year-old left-back Dimitrije Kamenovic.  The Serbian player has been bought since last July for a dowry of 2.5 million euros but has only just been officially registered in the Serie A or Europa League squad.  Andre Anderson was also added, previously he was not included in the first half, The Aquile preferred him over one of their young players, Raul Moro.

Lazio's full list of UEL:

Reina, Strakosha, Furlanetto;  Acerbi, Hysaj, Lazzari, Luiz Felipe, Kamenovic, Marusic, Patric, Radu;  Andre Anderson, Akpa Akpro, Basic, Cataldi, Leiva, Luis Alberto, Milinkovic-Savic;  Felipe Anderson, Cabral, Immobile, Pedro, Romero, Zaccagni
