[Official] Lazio Sign Jovane Cabral On The Last Day Of Transfer Market

Lazio is reported to have officially signed Sporting Lisbon winger, Jovane Cabral on the last day of the January market.  He is the only new player brought to the Italian capital team this month.


As reported by the official Lega Serie A website and it has also been announced by the club, the contract of Cape Verde international player Jovane Cabral from Sporting Lisbon has been completed meaning that he has now officially joined Lazio.


Meanwhile, the formula for the agreement to bring in the 23-year-old player is 1 million euros to borrow him with a buy option of 8 million euros, while Cabral will receive a salary of 1.5 million euros per year.  Although the Biancoceleste have been linked with several strikers in the transfer market this winter, they finally signed the Cape Verde international on the last day of the January window.


The 23-year-old winger has joined Sporting since 2014, he joined the senior team in 2018 and since then has made 97 appearances, scored 21 goals, and contributed 1 assist, this year he played in 17 matches with a total of 707 minutes.  , scored three goals and contributed one assist.


Cabral will strengthen Maurizio Sarri's current attack line which already includes Felipe Anderson, Pedro, Mattia Zaccagni, Raul Moro, and Ciro Immobile.  Although primarily played as a left-winger, he also has experience playing as a right-winger and also as a striker.
