Immobile Is Aiming To Become Serie A Top 10 Goalscorers Of All Time

Lazio star striker, Ciro Immobile is looking to break into the list of top 10 goalscorers in Serie A after becoming the all-time top scorer in the Italian capital team. He also recently equaled the record of club legend, Silvio Piola.


According to reports by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, 32-year-old Italian Ciro Immobile has become Lazio's all-time leading goalscorer by overtaking Silvio Piola's record in the list and now he wants to break into the top 10 goalscorers list in the history of Serie A.


Immobile is just 13 goals off the top 10 after scoring a total of 175 goals in 283 Serie A games and he still has 10 games left to reach his target for this season.


Meanwhile, the Biancoceleste star is still 99 goals off the top of the list and he still has four years left on his Lazio's contract. His average goals scored with the Biancoceleste is 0.62 goals per game and only Gunnar Nordahl (225 in 291 games) has a better ratio.


So far, the striker has made 32 appearances in all competitions in the 2021/22 season for a total of 2636 minutes. In that period he has scored 25 goals and contributed four assists and became an important figure in Maurizio Sarri's squad.
