Juventus Also Want To Sign Romagnoli For Next Summer

AC Milan defender, Alessio Romagnoli has reportedly attracted interest from Serie A rivals Juventus and Lazio, who are looking to sign him on a free transfer this summer.

When he joined the Rossoneri in 2015 for a fee of 25 million euros, Romagnoli was immediately expected by the fans as a player who will be a star and leader for the defense for the next decade given how promising his performances were with Sampdoria before.

It's true, the 27-year-old center-back is believed to hold the armband and has been Milan's leader for the past few seasons.  However, his contract with the club only has a few months left and he has also been attracted by several clubs who feel the opportunity to sign him on a free transfer.

According to reports from Calciomercato, Lazio has put a lot of effort into signing the Italy international who is a fan of the club since childhood despite his past with AS Roma.  However, Juventus have also been chasing him for quite some time, and talks of barter with Federico Bernardeschi were echoed last summer.

Currently, the Bianconeri are studying the new situation and it is believed that they will make an offer to the Rossoneri captain in a bid to add him to their squad ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, Milan is known to have made an offer to extend his contract and now the decision lies with Romagnoli whether to accept the proposal or choose to end his time at Milan.
