Mattia Zaccagni has become Lazio's most dangerous player so far in 2022, with the midfielder playing a key role in the team's ups and downs. The Italian midfielder has developed into one of Maurizio Sarri's key players in the second half of the season.

Italian midfielder Mattia Zaccagni, 26, struggled with thigh and knee injuries after joining from Hellas Verona last summer, but he quickly became head coach Maurizio Sarri's favorites after successfully settling in Lazio.

As reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Zaccagni has been involved in four goals since the beginning of February, becoming a key player in Biancoceleste's side during that time.

Only Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi has more assists than ex-Verona players in 2022, and no other player in the Aquile's squad has been fouled more than the midfielder, suggesting How important his role in the team is.

So far the midfielder has made 30 appearances in all competitions with a total of 1982 minutes, during which time he has scored seven goals and provided seven assists. He will also be one of the starting line up of The Aquile when they face the match against Venezia in Serie A which will take place on Monday (14/03) evening local time.
