Lazio Still Not Giving Up On Carnesecchi And Offered Atalanta A 2-Year Loan Deal For Him

The Atalanta goalkeeper was Lazio's number one goal to replace Strakosha, who La Dea estimates at 15 million.

Lazio wanted Marco Carnesecchi, he was the main target, the number one chosen by Sarri to whom Reina will have to act as second.

The boy belongs to Atalanta, who was loaned to Cremonese last season and secured promotion to Serie A. Cremonese would also like to keep him in the top flight, but the youngster is tempted by the prospect of joining Lazio and playing in Europe as he gave his endorsement to the negotiation that is now to be set up with Atalanta.

Atalanta has Musso as their main goalkeeper, and Carnesecchi's deal is worth around 15 million euros. A convincing formula needs to be researched and an equation established for the numbers found.

Alfredo Pedullà, on Sportitalia, highlights this situation:

"Carnesecchi is a target for Lazio and they are working on a two-year loan deal with a redemption obligation and a future resale percentage in Atalanta's favor."

The situation is still evolving, there is still a way to go, but Carnesecchi is currently Lazio's real target to replace Strakosha.
