Lotito And Setti Had Dinner Together To Advance Talk About Casale's Deal

The two presidents of Lazio and Hellas Verona had dinner on Wednesday and discussed about the defender that Lazio already ask in January.

Lazio needs to rebuild their defense. The departure of Luiz Felipe and the possible departure of Acerbi has prompted Lazio to look for new strengths. Sarri wanted Italian players and the ones selected were Alessio Romagnoli and Nicolo Casale.

For the first, the contract with Milan expiring, a raise will be needed on the first offer of 2.5 million. To convince him, you need to hit a 3 million-plus bonus per year. Gian Marco Ferrari from Sassuolo remains an alternative.

The situation was different for the Verona defender who was already pursued as early as January. According to Radiosei's usual news commentary, Lotito and Setti had dinner on Wednesday after the Coppa Italia final.

During the winter transfer market, Setti demanded around 10 million - 15 million for the player.  Lazio wants a discount and must also contend with competition, with Roma now chasing the youngster. Sarri insists on Casale and believes he is the right player as both a center-back and a left-back.

President Lotito will try to please him while he is pushing for a renewal of Patric, another request from the head coach. A meeting with the Spaniard's agent is expected in the coming days, the same as Romagnoli.
