[Official] Luiz Felipe Posts Farewell On His Social Media After Deciding Not To Renew His Contract With Lazio

Luiz Felipe has written a touching farewell to Lazio after their final appearance against Verona in Serie A on Saturday night (21/05).

Italian center-back, Luis Felipe, 25, will leave Lazio on a free transfer next month, ending his six-year tenure with the Rome-based club. He has grown into a strong and promising defender under Simone Inzaghi and has quickly become a fan favorite due to his passion and hard work.

Luiz Felipe thanked Aquile and fans via his personal Instagram and wished them well in his farewell post.

"Yesterday was my last game with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico and I have a lot to say, but there is still time. Today I just want to thank my teammates, all the fans, and everyone who works at this club, This means home to me."

"Five years meant a lot to me, in which I grew up as a man, as a father, and as a Serie A footballer. Here I have won many titles and wore the national team jersey for which I am grateful and I will always be associated with the colors of the Biancoceleste. Forza Lazio!

The 25-year-old is reportedly just one step away from joining Spanish club Real Betis on a free transfer, giving him the chance to experience a new league game and style of play.

He has scored 2 goals and provided 5 assists in 143 appearances for Lazio over the past 6 years. He won 1 Coppa Italia and 2 Italian Super Cups.
