Maistro Agrees To Move To Spal Next Season

After saying goodbye to Adekanye who officially joined the Go Ahead Eagles yesterday. As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio has reached a final agreement with SPAL on the permanent transfer of Fabio Maistro within these hours.

The midfielder, who was born in 1998 and left Lazio after three years, never got a chance and has been on loan, wearing the shirts of Salernitana, Pescara, and Ascoli. His stellar performances in Serie B had him almost confirmed for Ascoli, but the addition of SPAL pushed him towards Ferrara.

The young player is targeted by Roberto Venturato, who sees him as both a mezzala and attacking midfielder in a classic 4-3-1-2. From 2009 to 2013, Maistro grew up playing football at the SPAL youth. Maistro is under contract until 2025, which he will sign in the next few hours, while details of the deal between the two clubs have not been announced.

In last season's game, Maistro made 32 appearances (21 starts, 1,675 minutes) in an Ascoli jersey between the regular season and the playoffs, scoring 3 goals, 4 assists, and 2 penalties won.
